Getting Started


The configuration page is under Settings –> Udinra Image Sitemap Pro of your WordPress dashboard. You will see below page here.

Image Sitemap Pro Configuration

You need to activate the plugin using License key provided in purchase receipt. Enter the LIcense key in text box saying Enter the License Key.

Once you have entered the License key click on Activate Plugin to Activate the plugin. This will enable the configuration options. Before activating the plugin you will not be able to access the configuration options.

Select Gallery plugins you are using

This is drop down. If you click you can see list of Gallery plugin supported by Image Sitemap plugin. You can choose the Gallery plugin you are using on your site. The Gallery plugins currently supported are

  1. NextGen Gallery
  2. Photo Gallery
  3. Envira Gallery
  4. Best Web Soft Gallery
  5. Foo Gallery
  6. Final Tiles Grid Gallery

If you are not using any one of above plugins then select None.

Select eCommerce plugin you are using

If you are using any eCommerce plugin then you can select here. The plugin currently supports three eCommerce plugin

  1. WooCommerce
  2. Easy Digital Downloads
  3. WP eCommerce

If you are using other eCommerce plugin or none then select None

Select Slider plugin you are using

If you are using any Slider plugins on your site the select the plugin from this list. Currently plugin supports

  1. Meta Slider

If you are using any other or none then select None option.

Are you using Visual Composer plugin

There are many visual composer plugin out there. The plugin supports most of them. For example it is tested with

  1. WP Bakery visual composer plugin
  2. Page Builder by Site Origin

It should work with others as well. But was not extensively tested. If you are using Visual Composer plugin then select this option.

Select Other plugins supported

Image Sitemap plugin supports some other plugins which does not fall under any one of above category. It supports Download Monitor plugin. So if you are using Download Monitor plugin then you should select the plugin from this option.

How frequently sitemap should be generated?

There are three options currently.


This option is best for large sites with too many images. Also if you see delay in Image Sitemap creation while publishing a post or page then select this option.

After page or post is changed or published

If you select this option then sitemap is generated as soon as page or post is published. So if any content is changed on your site sitemap is refreshed. This helps you have latest sitemap at every moment of time. Ideal for small sites with less content. It is not recommended for large sites.


If you select this option then sitemap is created daily as well as when a post or page is changed. If you have less frequently changed site then this option can be used.

Enter CDN Name

In the text box you can enter your CDN name. Many websites use CDN (Content Delivery Network) to improve their website image load time. In case you are using CDN for your images you can enter the name here.

For example if your CDN image URL is static.your-domain.com/image-name then you need to enter static here.

Saving the Configuration Options

After selecting the options as per you website need you should now save the options. Click on Save option button to save the options.

Generate the Sitemap

After saving the options you can generate the sitemap. To generate the sitemap click on Create Sitemap Manually button. This will create your sitemap.

Next Steps

After click on Create Sitemap button your image sitemap file is created.The main sitemap file is index sitemap file (your-domain.com/sitemap-index-image.xml). You should add this sitemap to Google Search Console or any other Webmaster sites like Bing Webmasters.

Submitting sitemap to Google is one time activity. The sitemap gets created automatically and is pinged
