Sabri was follower(Bhakt) of God Rama.She tasted each and every fruit before giving it to God Rama and Lakshaman because she wanted to make it sure that the fruits are sweet.She gave sweet fruits to them and throw away sour ones.
God Rama eat fruits given by her but God Lakshman did not eat the fruits(at it was tasted by Sabri mata beforehand).In the below wall picture at Hanuman Tok mandir in Gangtok this story is presented in picture.
